Paid to your account, not ours
Many ticketing platforms hold your sales and pay you later. With GATE98, your buyer's payment goes into your account when they pay.
- We never receive your ticket sales. Payouts go to your bank, and your balance is in the app. A payout can be delayed or paused, for example for a fraud check.
- Your buyer pays the booking fee. You pay only the card fee.

What organisers ask first
Will it work at the door?
Each QR code works once, so a copy cannot get a second person in. You need mobile data or Wi-Fi at the entrance.
Can I oversell?
No. Tickets are held for 10 minutes while a buyer pays.
Do buyers need the app?
No. They pay in their browser and get PDF tickets by email.
What do I need to start?
An ABN, an Australian address and an ID check. The app takes you through it.

Quick answers
Who is GATE98 for?
Australian event organisers: venues, promoters, clubs and community groups. You need an ABN and an Australian business address.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. GATE98 launches on Google Play first. Buyers can use any phone or computer, because checkout runs in the browser.
A buyer lost their tickets. What can I do?
Open their order in the app and tap Resend Tickets. We email the receipt and the tickets again.
Do you handle GST?
If you are registered, we add 10% GST to your ticket prices and your receipts are tax invoices. You report GST to the ATO. We do not give tax advice.
What if I cancel an event?
Cancel it in the app. Every buyer gets a full refund, including the booking fee, and an email. Our Refund Policy and Organiser Terms have the details, including for a postponed or changed event.
Can I run more than one event?
One at a time. When your event ends, you can create the next one. Past events and their numbers stay in the app.
